Our guarantee

A grade band, in writing, before any work starts

You should not have to hope. Before we take a project on we agree which band it is being written to, and that agreement is the thing we answer for afterwards.

Clarity beats complexity
Why structure comes first

Our guarantee

The grade band is agreed before we start

Most services describe how hard they will try. We would rather be held to something you can measure. Every project is booked against a grade band, that band goes in writing before any work begins, and the standard of what we hand you is ours to answer for, not a matter of opinion afterwards.

Pass band

Sound and complete

Every requirement in the brief answered, the structure a marker expects, sources current and correctly cited throughout. Nothing missing, nothing that loses marks on presentation.

Merit band

Critical, not descriptive

The step most students lose marks on. Sources argue with each other instead of queueing up, claims are weighed rather than reported, and the methodology is defended rather than described.

Distinction band

An argument of your own

A clear original line running from research question to conclusion, depth of critique a specialist would recognise, and the kind of precision in referencing and presentation that a viva panel does not need to ask about.

Every project includes

  • The grade band agreed and confirmed in writing before work starts
  • A named specialist in your discipline, not a general writing pool
  • Work delivered in stages, so nothing arrives as a surprise at the deadline
  • Reworks at no extra cost until the agreed band is met
  • A similarity report with the final files
  • A refund if we miss the band we committed to

What we need from you

  • The assignment brief and the marking criteria
  • Word count, deadline and the grade band you are aiming for
  • Module materials, reading lists or lecture slides where you have them
  • Your supervisor's or tutor's comments on anything written so far
  • The referencing style your department requires
  • Anything already drafted, however rough

Grade bands follow UK conventions: Pass, Merit and Distinction at Master's level, and the equivalent classifications at undergraduate level. Tell us which your programme uses and we book against that.

Before we start

How the band gets agreed

Four things happen before a single paragraph is written. None of them cost you anything.

  • 01

    You send the brief

The assignment brief, the marking criteria, the word count and the deadline. Those four together decide what is realistic, and we will not guess at any of them.

  • 02

We read the criteria, not the topic

What separates a Merit from a Distinction is written down in your department's handbook. We work from your rubric, because that is what your marker will have open.

  • 03

We name a band and put it in writing

You get the band, what it will take to reach it and what we need from you, in writing, before any work begins and before you pay for it.

  • 04

    We are held to it

Reworks at no cost until the band is met. If we miss it, you get a refund. That is the whole point of agreeing it first.
